Optimization Design of Micro Injection Mold Based on CAE

摘要: 采用计算机辅助工程(CAE)技术对制品微注塑(μIM)模具结构进行优化,基于材料微尺度下的流变数据,运用Autodesk Moldflow Insight模流分析软件对微模具浇注系统、排气系统、温控系统进行优化仿真,并以此为参考进行模具设计。结果表明,通过实际注塑制品验证了优化方案的准确性,μIM短射实验与CAE模拟结果较为一致,微尺度效应影响下熔体流动前沿呈现平齐状。

Abstract: The structure of micro injection mold was optimized on the basis of the CAE analysis, and the feed system, venting system and temperature control system were optimized according to rheological data of polymer by the Autodesk Moldflow Insight software. These results were used as a reference to conduct the design of micro mold. The μIM parts were molded successfully to verify the accuracy of optimization process, and the experimental results obtained compared with short shot micro parts was in good agreement with those from the CAE ones. The melt shape appearing at the flow front seems to be flush due to the micro-sizing effect.
