Abstract: This paper analyzed the current status of the standard system for nonmetallic pipe components in China and also compared it with that in other developed countries.The problems in the current standard system were also discussed, which included the imperfect system, outofdate rules, and deficiency in some key standards.Some specific solutions were proposed to establish and improve the standard system of China for nonmetallic pipe components, including the promotion of connection between the domestic and international standards, the enhancement of collaboration and coordination between the standard organizations, the improvement of development and update of standard items, etc.This paper provided some concrete solutions for the development of the standard system of nonmetal pipeline components in China.
