表面处理对连续碳纤维性能的影响

Effects of Surface Treatment on Properties of Continuous Carbon Fibers

摘要: 采用高锰酸钾(KMnO4)、浓硝酸(HNO3)、电化学氧化和超声波双氧水联合氧化法分别对连续碳纤维(CCF)进行了表面处理,研究了CCF的表面形貌、浸润性、浸渍性以及复丝拉伸强度等。通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、反气相色谱法(IGC)、拉伸实验机表征了处理前后CCF的表面结构、表面能、浸渍效果及力学性能。结果表明,KMnO4、HNO3、电化学氧化和超声波双氧水联合氧化等这几种处理方式均能改善CCF的粗糙程度和润湿性能,其中超声波双氧水联合处理后的CCF的综合性能最优。

Abstract: Surfaces of continuous carbon fibers (CCF) were modified by KMnO4, HNO3, electrochemical oxidation and ultrasonichydrogen peroxide combined oxidation.Surface morphology, wettability, impregnation and multifilament tensile strength of CCF were investigated.Scanning electron microscopy, inverse gas chromatography, and electronic tensile test machine were adopted to examine the surface structure, surface energy, impregnation effect and mechanical properties of CCF before and after surface treatments.The results indicated that treatment methods used all improved the performance of CCF, but CCF achieved optimum comprehensive performance after ultrasonichydrogen peroxide treatment
