Designof Hot-runner Bicolor Injection Mold for Valve Body Parts of Automobile

摘要: 介绍了某汽车阀体零件热流道双色注塑模具的设计过程。针对双色模具特点和产品特性,选择聚丙烯/40 %聚苯乙烯共混物(PP/40 %PS)和热塑性聚烯烃弹性体(TPO)两种塑料作为产品的基材。为了满足外观要求,模具采用两板模热流道点浇口形式,保证产品和浇口熔融材料在开模过程中的自动分离。本套模具设计了一种弹簧力驱动的侧抽芯机构,使得滑块与限位柱产生相互运动的同时不发生脱离,滑块运动更加稳定和准确。模具还利用独立的液压抽芯系统解决了产品上特殊位置孔的成型问题。经过实际生产检验,该模具结构合理,产品性能稳定,满足生产要求。

Abstract: This paper reported a study on the design process of the hot-runner bicolor injection mold for the automobile valve body. Based on the characteristics of the bicolor mold and relevant products, two types of thermoplastics were selected as the basic materials, i.e. PP/40 %PS blend and TPO. To meet the requirement of appearance, the two-plate style hot-runner point gate was adopted to ensure the automatic separation of the product and molten material at the gate point during the opening process. A special side core-pulling mechanism was designed, which was driven by spring force. This makes the slider and the limit block move mutually without separating, thus making the slider movement more stable and accurate. The independent hydraulic core-pulling was used to solve the problem that there are some special holes formed on the product. The actual production confirmed that the mold structure was reasonable and the product performance was steady, which met the requirement of production.
