Abstract: The actuality of domestic and foreign safety standards for plastic machinery were discussed. The safety problems in domestic plastic machinery, such as design of guard, design of safety device, electrical safety, safety signs, etc, were analyzed and some advices for the development of domestic safety standards for plastic machinery were given.
