磺化聚苯乙烯反应工艺研究进展

摘要: 综述了以硫酸、三氧化硫(SO3)、氯磺酸等为磺化剂制备磺化聚苯乙烯(SPS)的研究进展,并介绍了合成新型脂肪型磺酸树脂的方法。其中用氯磺酸作为磺化剂制备SPS可减少至少2/3的磺化剂用量,反应时间由3 h多可缩短为约30 min,且磺化度可控,后处理工艺简化,极大地减少了废酸排放,大幅降低了生产成本。

Abstract: The research progress on preparation of sulfonated polystyrene (SPS) and synthesis of new fatty acid sulfonic acid resin was introduced. The common sulfonating agents included sulfuric acid, sulfur trioxide (SO3), and chlorosulfonic acid. When chlorosulfonic acid was used, the reaction time could be shortened from 3 h to about 30 min, the sulfonation degree of PS could be controlled, the post-treatment processing was simplified, and the amount of waste acid the cost of production could be largely reduced.
