Abstract: This article statistically analyzed the patent situation of DuPont Company in the field of polyimide on the basis of research hotspots, distributions of patent applications, and patent protection strategies. The development process and trends of patent applications by DuPont Company were introduced, and their product features, R&D teams and patent protection strategy for polyimide were also discussed according to the obtained patent data.
