Design and Process Optimization of Stack Injection Mould for Balance Ring of Washing Machine Based on Moldflow Software

摘要: 针对洗衣机平衡环的产品特点进行了叠层注塑模设计,使用Moldflow软件对产品进行了充填及保压、翘曲模拟分析。通过模拟熔体充模过程,优化了浇口数量和流道尺寸,达到了流动平衡;通过对不同的保压方案进行保压和翘曲变形分析,确定了合理的保压控制方法和工艺参数。结果表明,该叠层模具能够很好地满足洗衣机平衡环的成型和装配要求。

Abstract: A stack injection mold was designed according to characteristics of the balance ring of washing machine. The Moldflow software was used to simulate the filling, packing and warpage deformation processes of injectionmolded parts. Through the simulation of mold filling process, the number of gate and the size of runner were optimized, and the flow balance was achieved. The optimal control method and parameters of packing process were obtained by comparison of the results from the packing and warpage deformation processes with different packing parameters. The results indicated that the molding and assembling requirements for balance ring could be well met by the stack mold designed in this work.
