电吹风手柄后盖逆向工程建模与模具设计

Reverse Engineering Modeling and Mold Design of Handle Back Cover of Hair Dryer

摘要: 采用扫描仪对塑料产品电吹风后盖进行多次扫描得到点云并进行处理,然后对几何模型进行重构。应用Moldflow软件对模具的冷却系统和浇注系统的设计方案进行分析,得到最佳的设计方案。结果表明,最后设计出模具的总体结构,选择合适的模架,并设计出顶出结构,设计的斜顶机构可以安全顶出产品的内侧凸成形部分;整个设计过程对实际的复杂模具的设计具有一定的指导意义。

Abstract: This paper reported a reverse engineering modeling method as well as amold design for the handle back cover of a hair dryer. A multiple scan was firstly carried out for this plastic back cover using a scanner to obtain point cloud, and then the geometric model was reconstructed. The design schemes of mold cooling and pouring systems were analyzed by using the Moldflow software to gain the optimal design proposal. A suitable formwork was selected, and the structure of the outlet was also designed. The overall structure of the mold wasdesigned successfully. The whole design process in this workcan provide useful guidance for the design of similar molds with complicated structures.
