苹果酸型超支化共聚物的制备及其阻垢性能的研究

Preparation and Application of Malic-Acid Hyperbranched Copolymer for Scale Inhibition

摘要: 采用熔融聚合法,以三羟甲基丙烷(TMP)为中心核,以苹果酸为AB2型共聚单体,成功制备了苹果酸型超支化聚合物(HBP),采用FTIR和GPC对其结构进行了表征,并将其应用于循环水的阻垢方面,探讨了阻垢剂添加量和水样温度对其阻硫酸钙的能力。试验结果表明,苹果酸型超支化聚合物具有良好的分散性能,且对CaSO4具有良好的阻垢性能,在阻垢剂的用量为12mg/L时,其阻硫酸钙垢的阻垢效率达到95.2%,且在较宽的温度范围内使用,均具有较高的阻垢效率;XRD分析表明,HBP能抑制钙垢晶体的生长,降低硫酸钙垢的结晶度,从而起到抑制结垢的能力。

Abstract: The malic-acid hyperbranched copolymer (HBP) was successfully prepared by melt polymerization using trimethylolpropane as a core and malic acid as an AB2 monomer, and its structure was characterized by FT-IR and GPC. Then, HBP was applied for the scale inhibition of circulating water. The effects of HBP dosage and system temperature on the inhibition efficiency of CaSO4 scale were studied. The results indicated that HBP exhibited excellent dispersibility and scale inhibition performance for CaSO4, and it achieved a scale inhibition rate of 95.2% for CaSO4 at an HBP concentration of 12 mg/L. Moreover, HBP also showed excellent inhibition efficiency when used in a wide temperature range. XRD analysis demonstrated that HBP could inhibit the growth of calcium scale crystals and reduce its crystallinity, thus inhibiting the scaling capability.
