Influence of Injection Molding Parameters on Pressure Distribution of Cavity

摘要: 模腔压力曲线是产品品质的综合指标。探讨了模具温度、熔体温度和保压压力对模腔内各点压力大小的影响规律,并使用各点的时间压力曲线,对其各点的压力曲线重合率进行了探讨。在此基础上,分析了模具模腔内不同点的压力分布和制品品质之间的关系。结果表明,各点压力曲线越接近,制品品质的均一性越好;模拟计算使用模流分析Moldflow软件,所得结果对于研究模腔压力变化,监控产品品质,保证产品一致性具有重要的参考意义。

Abstract: Cavity pressure curve is a comprehensive index for product quality. In this paper, the effects of mold and melt temperatures and holding pressure on the pressure at each point in the cavity was discussed, and the coincidence rate of pressure curve at each point was investigated by using the time-pressure curve of each point. Furthermore, the relationship between the pressure distribution at different points in the mold cavity and the quality of final products was analyzed. The simulation and experimental results indicated that the closer the pressure curves at each point, the better was the uniformity of product quality. The simulation calculation was conducted with a Moldflow analysis software which was commonly used in the injection-molding machine industry. The results obtained in this work provided an important reference for studying the change of cavity pressure and monitoring product quality to ensure a good product consistency.
