Design of PTFE Piston Ring with C-type Cut and Its Applications in Transmission

摘要: 为了对变速器中的液压油进行密封,设计了一款C型切口的活塞环,采用ABAQUS软件对设计的活塞环进行动态应力分析,来指导尺寸设计;同时设计了一个带有凹槽的金属量规,来协助测量活塞环的尺寸,最后,客户对该款活塞环进行相关试验,试验结果证明了其能满足该款变速器的密封要求,同时试验的成功也有力验证了用该分析软件来指导设计的正确性。

Abstract: In order to seal the hydraulic oil in the transmission, a piston ring with C-type cut was designed. To provide a guide for dimension design, a dynamic stress analysis was simulated for the designed piston ring by the ABAQUS software. Meanwhile, a metal gauges with groove was designed to help the measurement of the size of piston ring. Finally, a practical test was carried out for the piston ring by customers. The test results indicated that the piston ring designed by this work could meet the requirements for transmission sealing. On the other hand, this test also confirmed that the analysis software used in this work could well serve for the design of sealing rings.
