连续碳纤维增强PA66复合材料的结晶与力学性能

Study on Crystallization and Mechanical Properties of Continuous Carbon-Fiber-Reinforced PA66 Composites

摘要: 采用熔融浸渍法制备了连续碳纤维(CF)增强聚酰胺66(PA66)浸渍带,用万能材料试验机、X射线衍射仪、差示扫描量热仪、扫描电子显微镜、动态热力学分析以及热重分析仪等研究了纤维含量对复合材料结晶与力学性能的影响。结果表明,CF的加入改变了PA66的α晶型的晶态结构,促进PA66异相成核,导致结晶温度升高;CF的加入使得PA66的双重熔融现象变得愈加明显,其高温熔融温度先减后增,这是由于CF对PA66具有诱导、促进成核作用,过多的晶核生长不完善,出现晶粒细化现象,其熔融温度降低;进一步增加纤维含量,其对成核的促进作用达到了饱和,晶粒逐步生长趋于完善,其熔融温度升高;浸渍带随着纤维含量的增加,其拉伸强度、储能模量、损耗模量以及玻璃化转变温度都有所提高。

Abstract: The prepreg tapes based on PA66 and carbon fiber (CF) were prepared by a melt-impregnation method, and the effect of CF content on their tensile properties and crystallization-melt behaviors were investigated by using universal material testing machine, diffractometer, differential scanning calorimeter, scanning electron microscope, dynamic thermomechanical analyzer and thermogravimetric analyzer. The results indicated that the introduction of CF led to a change in crystalline structure of α-form, which promoted the heterogeneous nucleation of PA66 and improved the crystallization temperature accordingly. The bimodal melting behavior of PA66 became more significant in the presence of CF, and its higher melting temperature tended to increase first and then to decrease. This may be due to the nucleation effect of CF, which induced and promoted the crystallization of PA66. Moreover, a grain refinement phenomenon was observed due to the huge amounts of crystal nucleus, thus resulting in a decrease of melting temperature. The increase of CF content could make nucleation saturated, which increased the number of nucleus and improved the melting temperature accordingly. The tensile strength, storage modulus and loss modulus of the prepreg tapes were improved with an increase of CF content.
