Abstract: This article introduced the composition characteristics and special application requirements of military materiel and analyzed various factors that may result in the performance degradation or damage of military materiel during shipment, handling, indeterminate storage and distribution to consignees worldwide. The preservation countermeasures were proposed, and meanwhile the application requirement and status of polymer materials in the field of military package were overviewed.
