Injection Mould Design for the Controller Shell of the Motor B5 Headlight Based on CAE

摘要: 根据汽车B5大灯控制器壳体的材料、结构特点以及关键尺寸等注塑工艺要求,设计了2种不同浇注系统,并利用计算机辅助工程(CAE)技术对2种不同浇注系统所产生的熔合纹、气孔、锁模力、翘曲变形、平面应力等参数进行对比,根据计算模拟结果最终选择了第一种方案。经过试模以及工艺参数的不断调整,最终确定注射温度为295℃、注射压力为107 MPa,保压压力为77 MPa等主要注射参数,产品品质稳定,精度可靠。

Abstract: According to the requirements of plastic injection process for controller shell of the motor B5 headlight,such as material,structure feature, and key size, two different gating systems were designed. CAE technology was applied to analyze and compare the weld lines,air holes,locking force, warping deformation, plane stress, and other parameters produced by the two gating systems and finally the first one was chosen. Through mould testing and process parameters adj ustment,it confirmed that the injection temperature was 295 0C,injection pressure was 107 MPa,and packing pressure was 77 MPa. Applying these parameters,the products possessed stable quality and reliable precision.
