Structure and Properties of Special Resin for Singlelayer Cast Film

摘要: 以利用Unipol气相聚乙烯中试装置自主研发的熔体流动速率为3.5 g/10 min的单层流延膜专用树脂为目标产品,同时收集市场上典型的同类进口产品,对2种产品的分子链结构进行了对比剖析,研究了分子链结构对产品性能的影响。结果表明,自主研发产品与进口产品的相对分子质量及其分布相当,序列结构分布相似,共聚单体在聚合物分子链中独立存在,并且分布均匀,但自主研发产品的级分分布与进口产品不同,结晶行为存在差异,这种差异使得自主研发产品的冲击、撕裂性能优于进口产品,而拉伸及光学性能相对略差。

Abstract: A comparative study was performed for the molecular structures and performance of two types of special polyethylene resins designed for singlelayer cast films. Although these two resins are produced through a Unipol gas phase method and had a melt flow rate of 3.5 g/10 min, one resin is domestically made and the other one is imported from ExxonMobil. The results indicated that the relative molecular weight and its distributions of the two resins were similar to each other. Moreover, these two resins also exhibit a similarity in sequence structure and distribution of comonomer in their macromolecules. However, there are differences in the composition distributions and crystallization behavior of the two resins, which resulted in higher impact toughness and tearing resistance but poor tensile and optical properties for the domestically made resin in comparison with the imported one.
