Static Analysis of the Steel Reinforced Plastic Pipe

Abstract: Based on elasticity assumption and section conversion method, stress analytic formula for internal pressure condition was derived. Using 3D discrete finite element model, stress and displacement distributions were analyzed and the tubular reticular stress distribution in plastic pipe was obtained. The reliability resulted from the calculation and finite element simulation was confirmed by hydrostatical burst experiment.
