Research Progress in Expanded Polytetrafluoroethylence Aerospace Sealant

Abstract: The latest progress of expanded polytetrafluoroethylence aircraft sealant was reviewed, including Gore method and poreforming agent foaming method. The effect of raw materials, lubricant, stretching condition, and sintering temperature on porosity and pore size was summarized. The future research trend on expanded polytetrafluoroethylence was also prospected.
