Abstract: The latest progress of expanded polytetrafluoroethylence aircraft sealant was reviewed, including Gore method and poreforming agent foaming method. The effect of raw materials, lubricant, stretching condition, and sintering temperature on porosity and pore size was summarized. The future research trend on expanded polytetrafluoroethylence was also prospected.
