Abstract: The design of injection molds based on UG software was exemplified by a bottom cover.It emphasized the parting design method for the mold structure using Mold Wizard of UG software.Through the use of patch repaired of the plastic parts,the work piece was divided into two parts,the cavity and the core,quickly and accurately.It significantly reduced the time of design,saved production costs,and increased economic efficiency.
