Abstract: The article introduced the implementation progress of ODS phaseout in foam sectors in China, and analyzed characteristics of the compliance mechanism of the Montreal Protocol as well as its influence on ODS phaseout in foam sectors. During the 13th Fiveyear Plan period, China will further enhance ODS management, and increasingly strengthen its efforts and support on the compliance tasks in order to ensure its achievement of phaseout targets as stipulated by the Montreal Protocol.
