Abstract: The polypropylene (PP)/carbon nanofiber(CNF) composites were prepared by a melt-blending method, followed by microcellular injection molding, and the effect of CNF on the properties of the composites. The results indicated that the microporous size decreased significantly with an increase of CNF content, but themicroporous density increased. Moreover, the tensile strength and modulus of conventional injection-molded composite samplesdecreased slightly in the presence of CNF, but the microcellular injection-molded ones seemed to present an opposite trend.
