Numerical Simulation of Two-stage Drawing Melt Electrospinning

Abstract: A finite element analysis software COMSOL was adopted to simulate the electrospinning electric field distribution according to the drawing mechanism of melt electrospinning, and the reliability of analysis results was verified by experiments. Mesh dividing was conducted for the model in the COMSOL software, and the simulation was carried out by using experimental data. Finally, the experimental verification was performed to confirm that the second-stage drawing could generate a better spinning effect, which was in good agreement with the simulation results.
