Abstract: The general situation about the plastic industry of China in 2018 was reviewed. On the basis of the data of plastic industry, the apparent consumption of plastics, the amount of plastic waste, the amount of recycled plastics and the utilization rate of recycled plastics in 2018 are analyzed and calculated. Meanwhile, the relationship between plastics and environment was discussed.
