Abstract: Poly(propylene carbonate) (PPC)/poly(butylene succinate) (PBS)/hyperbranched ethylenediamine triazine polymer (HBETP) blends were prepared by melting blending, their thermal properties, rheological properties, mechanical properties and morphology of impact fracture surfaces were investigated by dynamic mechanical analysis, thermogravimetric analysis, tensile and impact measurements, rotational rheometer and scanning electron microscopy. The results indicated that the blends achieved the maximum in tensile strength at the HBETP content of 0.5 wt%, and, in this case, the tensile strength increased by 49.6 % from 7.56 MPa to 11.22 MPa. Moreover, the introduction of HBETP enhanced the compatibility between the PPC and PBS phases and therefore improved the tensile strength of the blends.
