Technology Progress in Coextrusion Die of Plastic Film

Abstract

Abstract: Typical structure and features of coextrusion dies for multi-layer plastics films were introduced, including dies for casting multi-layer films （flat film method） and dies for blown multi-layer films （tubular film method）.Mayor dies for casting multi-layer films include manifold dies, feeding block dies and feed-block-manifold integrated dies. Dies for blown films involves cylindrical mandrel dies and cylindrical stack dies. Development situation of them in recent 10 years were also described in detail, covering innovative structure, enhanced adaptability and increasing layers of the films.
