Design of Injection Molds of Deep Cavity Drawers with Oblique Clasp Hands

Abstract: The technological characteristics of a deep cavity drawer with an oblique clasp hand were analyzed, and then the structural design and operating process of the injection mould for this part were described. The position of the gate was determined by the results of mold flow analysis. The clasp hand was formed and demoulded by using an inclined ejecting mechanism and a hydraulic core pulling mechanism. The multiple channels of cooling water were designed to achieve a uniform cooling effect on the plastic part. It was practically confirmed that the designed structure of this mold was reasonable and stable.
