Abstract: A thermally conductive composite was prepared using polysulfone modified epoxy resin as a matrix, glass fiber as a reinforcer, and boron nitride(BN) as a thermally conductive filler. It was found that the BN of large particle size could improve the mechanical strength, and those of small particle size was beneficial to a high thermal conductivity. With increasing content of BN particles, the thermal conductivity increased, the impact and flexure strengths increased first, and then decreased. When the content of BN was 10 wt %,impact and flexure strengths reached the maximum values.
