Abstract:

Blends of PE-HD/PA6/EVOH and PE-g-MAH as a compatibilizer were blow molded to barri er containers, the effects of composition and processing conditions on rheological and barrier properties were investigated. The laminar structure of the container section was observed using scanning electron microscopy.EVOH acted as the second compatibilizer, which interacted with PA6, thus increased the melt viscosity and improved processingstability. The optimal processing condition was set agtempera ture between225and230℃，the rate of screw rotation 30 rpm, and the blending time 3 min.
