Abstract: Water-borne polyurethane(WPU) was filled with bamboo charcoal (BC) forming antistatic paint film. The effect of BC loading, BC modifier, BC granularity, and mixing time on the properties of the film was investigated. γ-APTES was found a good modifier for BC. When the content of γ-APTES was 2 wt% of BC, BC content was 20 phr, BC granularity was 25?m, and mixing time was 40 min, the obtained WPU/BC film a volume resistivity of 1.7×104 Ω·cm, a pencil hardness of 4H, an impact strength of 73 kg.cm, a washability of 11350 times.
