环氧树脂/丙烯酸锌潜伏性固化体系制备及性能

Preparation and Properties of Epoxy/Zinc Acrylate Latent Curing Systems

摘要: 以潜伏型固化剂丙烯酸锌(ZDA)和双酚A型环氧树脂(E-51)为主要原料,经过物理共混的方法制备了环氧树脂混合物,并用红外光谱对混合物固化前后的结构进行表征。采用非等温差示扫描量热法研究了ZDA的含量对环氧树脂/ZDA耐高温固化体系的固化行为和性能的影响,通过Kissinger和Ozawa法来计算固化反应的表观活化能(Ea)。结果表明,随着ZDA含量的增加,固化反应的活化能降低,反应更容易进行;随着ZDA含量的增加,环氧树脂固化物的热稳定性随之降低;当ZDA的含量为15份时,弯曲强度、弯曲模量和拉伸强度都达到最大值,分别为88.82 MPa、2.64 GPa和46.70 MPa;逐步增加固化剂的含量,固化物会出现脆性的转变,材料的韧性得到了提高。

Abstract: A epoxybased latent curing systems were prepared by using bisphenolA type epoxy resin as a raw material and zinc acrylate (ZDA) as a latent curing agent. The molecular structure of this curing system was characterized by Fouriertransform infrared spectroscopy, and the effect of ZDA content on its curing behavior and properties were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry in the nonisothermal process. Furthermore, the apparent activation energy of curing reaction was calculated by Kissinger's and Ozawa's method. The activation energy of curing reaction was found to decrease with an increase of ZDA content, indicating an easier reaction for this curing system. Thermogravimetric analysis results indicated that the thermal stability of the epoxy thermosets decreased with increasing the ZDA content. The thermoset containing 15 phr of ZDA achieved a maximum value in flexural strength, flexural modulus and tensile strength, which were 89.25 MPa, 2.68 GPa and 48.21 MPa, respectively. Scanning electron microscopic observation demonstrated that there was a brittleductile transition occurring with the gradual increase of curing agent, thus enhancing the impact toughness of the thermosetting materials.
