Properties and Application of ACR一g-VC Impact Modifier

Abstract: Poly (vinyl chloride) (PVC) was modified with acrylics-g-vinyl chloride copolymer(ACR-g-VC) and its toughness and processability were compared with those modified with impact modifier acrylic rubber(ACR) and chlorinated polyethylene(CPE).It was found that ACR-g-VC and neat ACR possessed similar effects on the processability, but different on toughness. The reason for different behavior was analyzed based on the micromorphologics. In addition, synergistic effect was observed when ACR-g-VC was used together with CPE.
