Abstract: In this paper the tensile fracture-surface of octavinyl-polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane(OVP)/ABS composites was observed using a field emission scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The dispersion of OVP in ABS were analyzed,the influence of OVP content on the micro-morphology of fracture-surfaces of composites were investigated as well. When an initiator was introduced, OVP was grafted onto ABS, resulting in better dispersion and improved mechanical properties.
