Abstract: In order to reduce the shrinkage rate of plastic parts, the influence of process parameters on the shrinkage of plastic parts was studied by means of analysis of variance and orthogonal test. The results indicated that the plastic shrinkage obtained through the combination of optimal process parameters was 4.3117 %, Which was much smaller than the experimental one obtained from 25 times of orthogonal tests. In the case of acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin, the effect of processing parameters on the shrinkage became significant in an order of injection time > melt temperature > holding time > mold temperature > cooling time > holding pressure.
