γ射线辐照对PE-HD及PE-HD/木粉复合材料性能影响的研究

摘要: 采用傅里叶红外光谱仪、熔体流动速率仪、差示扫描量热仪、扫描电镜及力学性能测试等方法研究了高密度聚乙烯(PE-HD) γ射线辐照后分子结构、熔体流动速率、熔点和结晶结构的变化,以及辐照对PE-HD/木粉共混材料力学性能的影响。实验结果表明, γ射线辐照后PE-HD 分子链被引入了含氧极性基团(羰基)增加了其分子极性,改善了PE-HD/木粉共混体系的相容性, 使PE-HD/木粉共混材料的力学性能得到较大幅度提高,其拉伸强度、弯曲强度分别提高了80 %,缺口冲击强度提高了36 %。扫描电镜照片显示木粉在PE-HD基体中分散更均匀,界面结合良好。

Abstract: The effect of γ-irradiation on the molecular structure, melt flow rate, melting point, and crystallization structure of PE-HD and on the mechanical properties of PE-HD/wood-flour composites were studied through FT-IR , DSC, TEM, and mechanical properties testing. Because polar groups were generated on the PE-HD chain by γ-irradiation, the interfacial adhesion with wood-flour was enhanced, and the mechanical properties of the composite were improved. Both tensile and flexural strengths were increased by 80%, impact strength increased by 36%. SEM micrographs revealed that wood-flour was finely dispersed in polymer matrix.
