干法改性氢氧化铝对聚氯乙烯性能的影响

Impact of Modification of Aluminum Hydroxide on Properties of PVC

摘要: 采用硬脂酸、γ―氨丙基三乙氧基硅烷(KH550)和铝酸酯3种表面改性剂对氢氧化铝(ATH)进行干法表面改性,通过活化指数、极限氧指数、拉伸性能、硬度测试和扫描电子显微镜观察,研究了阻燃剂ATH对软质聚氯乙烯(PVC)的阻燃性能和力学性能的影响。结果表明,硬脂酸为最佳表面改性剂,改性剂用量为ATH质量的1.5%,在软质PVC中添加20份硬脂酸改性的ATH时,复合材料的综合性能较好,较添加未改性ATH的体系,其极限氧指数可提高2.7%。

Abstract: In this paper, stearic acid , γ - aminopropyl triethoxysilane (KH550), and aluminate coupling agent were introduced into soft PVC. The effect of the modifiers on activation index, oxygen index, mechanical property, hardness, and micro morphology were studied. When the content of stearic acid was 1.5 phr, that of the stearic acid modified aluminum hydroxide was 20 phr,the material provieded a comprehensive performance, and the oxygen index increased by 2.7%.
