摘要: 采用无皂乳液聚合法,使苯乙烯单体(St)在烷基化预处理的纳米TiO2粒子的表面进行接枝聚合,得到了稳定的以纳米TiOz粒子为核、接枝聚苯乙烯为壳的复合颗粒(TiOz-g-PS)。研究了烷基化预处理以及聚合条件(单体浓度、引发剂浓度、反应时间)对TiOz表面接枝改性的影响,并对其聚合机理进行了探讨。结果表明:PS以化学键成功地接到纳米TiOz的表面,并且可以通过改变接枝聚合的条件来调节粒子上所接聚苯乙烯的结构,为进一步优化纳米粒子填充聚合物复合材料的结构和性能之间的关系建立基础。

Abstract: By means of soapless emulsion polymerization, graft polymerization of styrene(St) onto the surface ofalkyl nanoTiO2 was carried out, resulting in composite particles with TiO2, core and a polymer shell.Polystyrene(PS)ischemically attached onto the nanoparticles by a double bond introduced during the pretreatment with a coupling agent. Through analyzing the reaction mechanism, the emulsion poly- merization site was found to besituatedatthe  TiOsurface. The factors affecting the grafting yielding o PS on the particles were also investigated, including monomer concentration, emulsion agent content, and reaction time, an optimum grafting reaction condition was determined. The structural characteris-tics of the grafting polymers can betailored by changing the reaction conditions. This provided possibili-ties for optimizing the structure-property relationships of polymer composites filled with the modifiec nano-TiO2 particles in the future works.
