混沌转子的混合特性及其在ABS/Al2O3导热材料制备中的应用

Mixing Characteristics of a Chaos Rotor and Its Application for Preparation of Thermally Conductive ABS/Al2O3 Composites

摘要: 利用Polyflow软件对混沌转子及标准转子进行建模模拟,通过对流场的混合指数、累积解聚功及Lyapunov指数分布的分析,研究了2种转子的混炼流场特性以及转子构型和转子转速对其分散分布混合能力的影响,并制备了丙烯腈丁二烯苯乙烯共聚物/球形氧化铝(ABS/Al2O3)导热复合材料。研究了Al2O3粒径、转子结构与混炼工艺对复合材料导热性能的影响。结果表明,采用混沌转子及提高转速均可以获得更好的分散分布混合效果;当Al2O3含量为70 %(质量分数,下同)时,采用混沌转子,转速为500 r/min时获得最佳的导热及力学性能,所得到的材料的热导率可达1.3 W/(m·K);通过添加石墨(C)可以提高材料的热导率,当Al2O3含量为65 %、C含量为5 %时热导率可达2.1 W/(m·K)。

Abstract: Models for chaos rotors and standard rotors are established by a Polyflow software. Effects of rotor configuration and rotor speed on dispersive and distributive mixing capabilities were investigated through mixing index, cumulative deagglomerating energy and Lyapunov index of flow fields. ABS/Al2O3 composites were also prepared to study effects of particle size, rotor structure and mixing process on their thermal conduction. The results indicated that a better dispersion could be achieved by using the chaotic rotors and increasing rotating speed. Composites containing 70 wt % of Al2O3 achieved the maximum thermal conductivity and mechanical properties when the chaotic rotor was used at a rotating speed of 500 r/min, and the thermal conductivity reached 1.3 W/(m·K). In addition, the addition of graphite fiber could improve thermal conductivity of the composites, and the thermal conductivity reaches 2.1 W/(m·K) when 65 wt % of Al2O3 and 5 wt % of graphite fiber were incorporated.
