桥梁缆索PE护套的抗紫外老化性能研究

摘要: 采用高密度聚乙烯(PE-HD)和超高相对分子质量聚乙烯(PE-UHMW)共混改性,用高功率紫外灯加速老化,用万能试验机、傅里叶变换红外光谱仪以及扫描电镜等测量材料的力学性能、紫外辐照前后材料表面的化学结构及断面的微观结构变化。结果表明,在PE-HD/PE-UHMW为1/1时,添加卡博特公司的牌号为9A32的炭黑母粒后辐照500 h,其断裂伸长保留率仍在80 %左右,明显提高了抗紫外辐照能力;共混样品在紫外辐照后力学性能的降低是由其主链发生断裂降解和结构疏松所致;相关力学性能测试表明,该共混改性样品拉伸强度大于25 MPa,断裂伸长率大于550 %,可满足桥梁护套的使用要求。

Abstract: Mechanical properties, chemical structure, and microstructure of PE-HD/PE-UHMW blends were studied by means of universal tester, Fourier transform infrared, and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) after high power UV light irradiation. When the weight ratio of PE-HD/PE-UHMW was 1/1 and carbon 9A32 was added, 80 % of the elongation at break was reserved after irradiation. After 500 h of UV light irradiation, a tensile strength of 25 MPa and an elongation at break of 550 % were kept, which met the requirement for bridge jacket materials.
