Al(OH)3及其复合阻燃体系对电缆护套料阻燃和力学性能的影响

Effects of Al(OH)3 and Its Composite Flame Retardant on Flame Retarding Performance and Mechanical Properties of Cable Jacket

摘要: 研究了氢氧化铝-氢氧化镁[Al(OH)3-Mg(OH)2]和Al(OH)3-有机蒙脱土(OMMT) 这两种不同的阻燃体系以及不同生产工艺制备的单组份Al(OH)3对电缆护套料的阻燃性能和力学性能的影响进行了研究。结果表明,Al(OH)3和Mg(OH)2的添加量为1:1时,电缆护套料的阻燃性能达到比较理想的效果;加入3% 的OMMT能与Al(OH)3在燃烧过程中产生良好的协同效应,生成致密且坚固的炭层,改善了电缆护套料的阻燃性能;不同生产工艺制备的Al(OH)3用作电缆护套料的阻燃剂,能明显提高其阻燃性能。

Abstract: Three kinds of retardant system, single-component Al(OH)3, Al(OH)3/Mg(OH)2, and Al(OH)3-OMMT, were applied in cable jacket material and their effects on flame retarding performance and mechanical properties were studied, When the weight ratio of Al(OH)3 and Mg(OH)2 was 1:1(phr), materials has good flame retardant property. A synergistic effect between Al(OH)3 and OMMT was confirmed by the formation of compact charred layer. Single-component Al(OH)3 also showed a significant effect on flame retarding performance.
