Abstract: Rheological behavior of non-halogen flame-retarded PC/ABS alloy was studied, the relationship of melt apparent viscosity and shear stress/shear rate was found. It showed that this system was non-Newtonian pseudo plastic fluid and the apparent viscosity of the melt decreased with the increase of shear rate. At the temperature of 230 ℃, non-Newtonian index of the alloy increased with increasing content of the flame-retardant. When the shear rate was 200-3000s-1, the viscosity value of the alloy was not sensitive to temperature.
