Abstract: The gas-phase processes used in various corporations for production of polypropylene were summarized with their technical characteristics, catalyst used, reaction condition, and product introduced. The processes included Innovene process of Ineos Corporation, Unipol process of Dow Corporation, Novolen process of NTH Corporation, Spherizone process of Lyondell Basell Corporation, Horizone process of Japan Polypropylene Corporation, and Sumitomo process of Sumitomo Chemical Company. The developing situation of gas-phase process for polypropylene in China was analyzed，and some suggestions were made.
