Abstract: Recent development of studies on rheological characterization of phase separation in partial miscible polymer blends with different dynamic asymmetry was reviewed in this paper, including timetemperature superposition principle and temperature ramp under oscillatory shear, as well as temperature ramp under steady shear; reasons for different dependences on temperatures for complex structures in blends were well analyzed, and advantages and applicability of the methods were summarized and compared according to blending systems with weak or strong dynamic asymmetry.
