Design of an Improved Automobile Headlamp Lens

Abstract: A light guide plate with nonuniform arrangement was designed using an optical software LightTools. When the plate was in the automobile headlamp lens, it reduced the exit light divergence angle and increased the utilization rate of light energy, resulted in more uniform luminance distribution. This device could avoid the influence of external light on the driver in the night.
