Abstract: The reaction-curing curve of a kind of liquid silicone was determined with differential scanning calorimetry(DSC), from which the relationship between the curing degree and the curing rate was obtained. The reaction rate constants, reaction order, and activation energy were obtained. These parameters were used in the material library of Moldflow to simulate the reaction injection molding. The curing degree and injection pressure during the injection molding were obtained by simulation. The error between the simulation and actual injection pressure in production was about 10 %.
