Abstract: Poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) aqueous solution was mixed with aqueous dispersion of poly(3,4ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate)(PDOT:PSS), from which a blend fiber was prepared by wetspinning using methyl alcohol as a coagulation bath. The effect of annealing temperature and time on the property of the blend fiber were characterized by FTIR, SEM, high resistance meter, and single fiber strength tester. As the annealing temperature and time increased, the electrical conductivity, tensile strength of the fiber increased; while the elongation at break decreased, surface roughness and the number of tiny grooves.
