Abstract: This paper reviewed the research progresses in the preparation of poly（lactic acid）/plant fiber composites at home and abroad and introduced the relevant processing additives including compatibility agents, toughening agents, lubricants, flame retardants and plasticizers in detail. Finally, the development of the additives used for poly(lactic acid)/plant fiber biodegradable composites was prospected.
