Abstract: Moldflow was applied to the design of plastics injection mold to optimize the position and quantity of gates．Exemplified by a camera cover，through analysis of melting-joint imprint and bubble chamber, an optimization of the gate design was carried out. Such designing process would improve the products quality, reduce the cost of production, and shorten the product development cycle.
