Research on diallyl phthalate resin toughened by vinyl ester oligomers

摘要: 用两种不同分子量的乙烯基酯低聚物(VEO1、VEO2)增韧邻苯二甲酸二烯丙酯(DAP)树脂。测定了混合树脂的凝胶时间及固化物的不溶分数。利用静力学测试、动态热力学分析(DMA)、热重分析(TGA)、及扫描电子显微镜(SEM)对固化物进行了表征。结果表明,加入5% 及20% VEO1时冲击强度分别提高了73%、120%,同时弯曲强度提高,热学性能也得到改善。高分子量的VEO2对DAP的增韧更具有优势。

Abstract: The diallyl phthalate (DAP) resin was toughened by two kinds of vinyl ester oligomers (VEO1 and VEO2) with different molecular weight. The gel time of the mixed resins and the insoluble fraction of the cured samples were measured. The cured samples were characterized by static mechanical testing, Dynamic Mechanic Analysis (DMA), Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA), and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM). The results show that the impact strength increases by 73% with 5% VEO1 and by 120% with 20% VEO1, as well as the increment of flexural strength and the enhancement of thermal property. As a toughener for DAP resin, the VEO2 with higher molecular weight, is more advantageous.
