铝酸锌包覆氢氧化镁的制备及其在软质PVC中的抑烟性能研究

Preparation of Aluminum Zinc Encapsulated Magnesium Hydroxide and Its Smoke Suppression Property in Plasticized Poly(vinyl chloride)

摘要: 在氢氧化镁存在的悬浮液中,通过硫酸锌与铝酸钠反应生成铝酸锌来制备铝酸锌包覆的氢氧化镁粉体,并考察了其在聚氯乙烯(PVC)中的抑烟作用。结果表明,与未处理的氢氧化镁相比,铝酸锌包覆的氢氧化镁碱性更弱,吸油值更低;锥形量热仪和烟密度测试结果表明,添加20份铝酸锌包覆氢氧化镁的PVC阻燃材料的总烟释放量为10.36 m2/m2,比添加2份铝酸锌和20份氢氧化镁的分别降低了24 %和48 %;其烟密度等级为65,而添加铝酸锌的为76,添加氢氧化镁的为90。

Abstract: In an aqueous suspension of magnesium hydroxide, zinc aluminate was formed by the reaction between zinc sulfate and sodium and coated on the surface of magnesium hydroxide. The zinc aluminate coated magnesium hydroxide was added into PVC as a smoke suppression agent. The alkaline of the coated magnesium hydroxide was weaker and the oil absorption value was lower than plain magnesium hydroxide. When 20 phr zinc aluminate coated magnesium hydroxide was used, the total smoke release amount of PVC was 10.36 m2/m2, which was 24 % and 48 % lower than the systems containing 2 phr of zinc aluminate and 20 phr of plain magnesium hydroxide, respectively. The smoke density rates of above three systems were 65, 76, and 90, respectively.
