聚丙烯/粉末丁苯橡胶共混体系性能的研究

Study on Properties of Polypropylene/Styrene-butadiene Rubber Powder Blends

摘要: 以粉末丁苯橡胶(SBR)作增韧剂,考察了均聚聚丙烯(PP-H)/SBR共混体系的力学性能,采用扫描电子显微镜和差式扫描量热仪研究了不同相容剂对PP-H/SBR共混体系的相形态、力学性能和结晶行为的影响。结果表明,SBR是PP-H有效的增韧剂,SBR1712对PP-H 的增韧效果好于SBR1500,但SBR的加入导致共混体系的拉伸强度明显下降;相容剂对PP-H/SBR共混体系有明显增容效果,含有相容剂的PP-H/ SBR共混体系冲击强度超过基体PP-H 树脂的5倍以上,且综合性能明显改善。通过透射电子显微镜观察发现,含有相容剂PP-H/SBR共混体系中的橡胶相SBR在PP-H 中的团聚体少、颗粒粒径小、分散均匀; SBR在提高PP-H/ SBR共混体系的冲击强度同时,降低了体系的拉伸强度、刚性、热变形温度。

Abstract: Styrene-butadiene powder (SBR) was introduced into polypropylene (PP) as a toughener, the mechanical property of PP/SBR was studied, and the influence of a compatilizer on mechanical properties of the blend was investigated. It was found that the impact strength of the PP/PSBR/compatibilizer system was 5 times that of neat PP, however, the tensile strength, stiffness, and heat distortion temperature were decreased. Observed by TEM, the compatibilizer made the PSBR finer dispersed in PP matrix, which was considered a reason for the effective toughening.
